If you are taking delivery of a spiffy, new 2021 Mustang Mach-E in December, you can start planning a nice, long road trip. The EPA certified the range targets for the all-electric Mustang SUV and some models can travel as far as 300 miles.
“This validation by the EPA comes at a perfect time as the Mustang Mach-E is gearing up to take on the open road,” said Darren Palmer, global director, Battery Electric Vehicles, Ford Motor Company.
The EPA verified the standard-range, rear-wheel drive version at 230 miles, while the standard-range, all-wheel-drive version is rated for 211 miles. Extended-range, rear-wheel-drive models will travel 300 miles, while all-wheel-drive models with the big battery will go for 270 miles.
There are still some models undergoing testing however, as the California Route 1 which carries a targeted EPA-estimated range of 300 miles, should be confirmed as the EPA wraps up its testing.
