What the hell is Dezerland you ask? Well get this; Dezerland Action Park Orlando is nearly 15 football fields, making it Florida’s largest indoor attractions with over 850,000 square feet of family entertainment options.. Founded by long-time car collector Michael Dezer, this place houses 2000+ vehicles valued at $200 million across 20 themed rooms. What a great back drop for a car show…enter the Mustang Club of America (MCA) National event hosted by the Mid Florida Mustang Club (MFMC).
Led by Matt Cannizzaro and the MFMC team, they pulled off one of the best Mustang events you will see in the state of Florida. With over 350 exclusive and prestigious mustangs from over 40 different states, this show did not disappoint. We were impressed by the early model turn out, but we were even more impressed that there was a strong representation of every model year!
Donald Farr (aka Mr. Mustang) was also on site to autograph his latest book “Mustang 60 Years” and conduct an interview with another Mustang icon, Mary Jean Wesche. If you do not have Donald’s book, visit donaldfarr.com. I'm sure he will autograph one for you too.
The show was fabulous, the weather was fantastic (a little warm but its Florida!), lots of great vendors, and we were there to capture some great cars!
If you are a Mustang enthusiast I would encourage you to join the Mustang Club of America (https://mustang.org/) and a local club like the MFMC. They have done a lot for the Mustang community, and they continue to grow the interest of the automotive hobby.
