While the Shaker scoop was optional on the original Mustang Mach 1, it has become part of the legend. The hood scoop is iconic and many enthusiasts were dismayed when it wasn’t included on the 2021 Mustang Mach 1. Fortunately, the Mustang’s best friend is the aftermarket.
In this case, Classic Design Concepts comes through in the clutch. The company has a history of offering Shaker hood scoops for 2005-2009 and 2011-2014 models. As such, it was only natural the company would develop a shaker for the latest Mach 1.

Set to ship during the Mustang’s birthday month, the CDC Shaker for the 2021 Mach 1 features a functional aluminum scoop. It is designed to clear the factory strut-tower brace and comes with all the gear to install – including a template to cut the hood.
“Our kit provides both form and function by funneling the air captured by the scoop into the car’s airbox. Fresh air equals more power!” the company added. “The scoop is mounted to the engine so, of course, gets the ‘Shaker’ effect when you rev the engine.”
